She was a clinical tutor at the University of Adelaide for 3 years and taught dental radiography and dental photography.
Rachael is an active member of the Dental Hygiene Association Australia (DHAA) and attends numerous dental seminars to stay abreast of the latest research and to ensure her patients receive proven preventive methods in dental care. She is passionate about promoting oral health in the broader community and has delivered fun and interactive presentations at childcare centres, preschools and primary schools in order to improve oral health awareness for children and adults alike.
Rachael is mum to two young boys Harry and Oscar, plus a lovable dog called Jaffa. On weekends, she keeps the family active by going for bike rides around Lake Burley Griffin, walking up Mt Ainslie or swimming at the pool, and enjoys taking her family to the beaches of the South Coast. Since returning to Canberra, Rachael has been seeking out the best playgrounds and restaurant/cafes the capital now has to offer (and welcomes patients’ recommendations). She loves a good coffee, cooking from scratch, shopping at the markets, and swapping recipes.
