Steve’s dedication to excellence shows in his clinical skills, while his empathy and attention to his patient’s needs are at the forefront of his work.
Dr Scott J-S Park. BDSc (Qld)
Scott’s friendly and easy going nature makes patients feel right at home. With a combination of skill, knowledge and a genuine enjoyment of meeting new people, Scott believes in working with his patients to arrive at a ‘complete solution’ for their dental needs.

Ann has a keen eye for detail and is meticulous in her approach to her work which is well suited to her special interest in cosmetic dentistry. A gentle, empathetic and experienced practitioner, Ann likes to focus on veneers, crowns and smile enhancement procedures.
Dr Deanne Carr. BDSc (Hons) Qld
Having joined us in 2016 after moving to Canberra from Queensland, Deanne is a great asset to our practice. She is personable, approachable and experienced in all areas of general dentistry, with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. What Deanne loves most about her job is ‘being able to help patients love their smile’.
Rachael Walton. Dental Hygienist
Rachael is an excellent clinician who respects all her patients’ needs and performs her work with an eye for detail. Our patients appreciate her thorough approach to patient care and her dedication to helping patients keep their mouth healthy for life. As a dental hygienist, Rachael’s role involves the cleaning and polishing of teeth, treatment of periodontal (gum) disease, taking X-rays and impressions and giving advice to help patients prevent dental problems.
Tennille Evans. Dental Hygienist
Tennille has a gentle, caring and calm approach to her work which can put even the most anxious of patients at ease. Tennille is always happy to share her knowledge, and particularly enjoys treating children and setting them on the path to a lifetime of great teeth.
Annika Johansson. Dental Hygienist
Annika has been a part of the Preventive Dentistry team since 1992, making her our longest standing team member. She has a quiet pleasant nature which allows her to build an easy rapport with her patients. She grew up in Jonkoping, Sweden. She graduated from Dental Hygiene in 1991 at Falun University for Health Professionals. Prior to this she completed her Dental Assisting course and also studied Social Psychology.
Shannon Gill. Dental Hygienist
Shannon’s approach to her work is “to treat every patient gently with care and compassion, while providing the highest level of clinical expertise”. From the USA, Shannon studied Dental Hygiene at Eastern Florida State College and graduated in 1998. She continued study at the University of Central Florida and received her Bachelors degree in Marketing in 2000.
Donna Shaw. Practice Manager
As Practice Manager, Donna has the role of ensuring the practice runs smoothly and that both patients and staff are well looked after. Always ready for a friendly chat, but efficient at the same time, Donna is the go-to person at the Practice. She grew up in Sydney and came to Canberra in 2002. She joined Preventive Dentistry as a receptionist in 2004 and stepped up to the role of Practice Manager in 2007.
