Six ceramic veneers placed to manage the aesthetics of missing lateral incisors
This young lady came to Dr Ann seeking cosmetic Improvement of her upper front teeth. She had congenitally missing lateral incisors and a previous dentist had built up her canines in composite resin to disguise them as lateral incisors - these were now stained, discoloured, and unaesthetic.
Two ceramic veneers and composite resin bonding
Laura is an attractive young lady who felt self-conscious about her smile as her teeth were dark, chipped and irregular.
Home whitening was performed, two ceramic veneers were placed on the upper central incisors and composite resin bonding was done on the upper lateral incisors. Laura is extremely happy with her new smile.
Whitening, ceramic crown, and three ceramic veneers
This young man, a final year Dental Student, was involved in a scooter accident while holidaying overseas. He suffered facial
lacerations and severe fractures of his four upper front teeth. The teeth were temporarily built up with composite resin by another dentist prior to the patient presenting for treatment with Dr Ann.
Whitening and porcelain veneers on front teeth
Janet disliked the colour of her teeth and especially wanted to fix the stained lines on her two front teeth (central incisors). She was also interested in closing the small gap between the central incisors.
Porcelain veneers to replace old composite resin restorations
Mary had old and yellowing composite resin restorations on her lateral incisors. These had been present for about 20 years. They had been placed to build up teeth that were naturally very small. Mary was after a more natural-looking, aesthetically pleasing solution.
Porcelain veneers were placed over Mary's lateral incisors. Notice the absence of any visible join lines where the veneers have been attached to the teeth, and how healthy the gums are around the area.
Porcelain veneers to lengthen the teeth and close gaps
Mario wanted to do something about the gaps between his upper teeth and his worn biting edges that made his teeth appear small and short.
A high-quality porcelain veneer for a fractured tooth
Kylie was involved in a car accident, and amongst her injuries was a fractured upper lateral incisor. This tooth developed decay as it had been left broken for over a year and wasn't looked after properly. Kylie's GP referred her to see us for treatment.
Kylie's lateral incisor was restored with a porcelain veneer. Natural teeth are usually made up of several shades, with characteristics such as lighter or frosted areas, fine lines, and surface undulations. Reproducing these features requires a high level of skill. We work with experienced Australian dental technicians to achieve these results.
Ten year review of four ceramic veneers
This patient had old and stained porcelain veneers. There was discolouration at the margins (join between the veneers and the tooth) and the original veneers were too short which made her teeth look irregular.
Four ceramic veneers were placed on the upper front teeth. These new veneers were an ideal shape and length. The smooth,
well-fitting margins were placed just below the gumline so they cannot be seen.
10 Year Review
At the 10 year review, these high-quality veneers look just as good as they did when they were placed. The health of the gums has improved over time due to the better fit and smooth margins of the new veneers.
