“Sometimes dentistry is as much an art form as it is a science. Creating beautiful smiles is where the two meet.” Ann has a keen eye for detail and is meticulous in her approach to her work which is well suited to her special interest in cosmetic dentistry. A gentle, empathetic and experienced practitioner, Ann likes to focus on veneers, crowns and smile enhancement procedures.
Raised in Sydney, Ann obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney, graduating in 1997 with Honours. She has worked in both public and private sectors and has been part of the Preventive Dentistry team since 2004.
After working as a dentist, Ann wanted to pursue her personal interests and undertook studies at the Australian National University focusing on the areas of archaeology, biological anthropology, psychology and linguistics. In 2009, Ann graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Graduate Diploma in Biological Anthropology.
Ann is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the ACT Dental Group. She held the position of Secretary of the ADA ACT Division between 1999 and 2002. In 2005, Ann was appointed by examination as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Ann’s interests include spending time at the gym, interior design and art. She is a busy mum and balances dentistry with looking after her family – husband Steve, son Oliver, daughters Hanna and Sofie.
