Six ceramic veneers placed to manage the aesthetics of missing lateral incisors

This young lady came to Dr Ann seeking cosmetic Improvement of her upper front teeth. She had congenitally missing lateral incisors and a previous dentist had built up her canines in composite resin to disguise them as lateral incisors - these were now stained, discoloured, and unaesthetic.

The composite resin bonding was removed from her lateral incisors, home whitening was performed and six ceramic veneers were placed to create a natural and harmonious smile.

Ten year review of four ceramic veneers
Before
This patient had old and stained porcelain veneers. There was discolouration at the margins (join between the veneers and the tooth) and the original veneers were too short which made her teeth look irregular.
After
Four ceramic veneers were placed on the upper front teeth. These new veneers were an ideal shape and length. The smooth,
well-fitting margins were placed just below the gumline so they cannot be seen.
10 Year Review
At the 10 year review, these high-quality veneers look just as good as they did when they were placed. The health of the gums has improved over time due to the better fit and smooth margins of the new veneers.
