“Dentistry is both a science and an artform. Creating beautiful smiles is where the two meet.” Dr Ann has a keen eye for detail and is meticulous in her approach to her work which is well suited to her special interest in cosmetic dentistry. A gentle, empathetic and experienced practitioner, Dr Ann is a perfectionist and likes to focus on veneers, crowns and smile enhancement procedures.
Raised in Sydney, Dr Ann obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney, graduating in 1997 with Honours. She has worked in both public and private sectors and has been part of the Preventive Dentistry team since 2004.
After working as a dentist, she wanted to pursue her personal interests and undertook studies at the Australian National University focusing on the areas of archaeology, biological anthropology, psychology and linguistics. In 2009, Dr Ann graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Graduate Diploma in Biological Anthropology.
Ann is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the ACT Dental Group. In 2005, Dr Ann was appointed by examination as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. She is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside of work, Dr Ann’s interests include spending time at the gym, interior design and art. She is a busy mum and balances dentistry with looking after her family – husband Steve, son Oliver, daughters Hanna and Sofie.
