Kris, as she likes to be called, grew up in Perth, Kiama and then spent a number of years in Sydney. She completed her Bachelor of Oral Health degree at Newcastle University in 2010.
Kris has a kind and gentle approach and enjoys building rapport with patients and seeing them over many years.
“What I enjoy about my job is watching a nervous patient turn into a relaxed patient after many gentle sessions…something which I pride myself on.”
She also likes the challenge of treating someone who has not had a clean for a number of years and watching their mouth go from unhealthy to healthy.
Kris is actively engaged with the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia (DHAA) and is a regular attender at their annual symposiums.
Kris, her husband and two children live on a small property in Murrumbateman complete with chickens, lots of fruit trees and vegetable patches. They enjoy travelling regularly to both Sydney and Kiama to visit family. Kris is also involved in many local community projects and has started a free fitness program for those in her area.
